The pead’s department in dedicated to providing the highest medical quality and comprehensive care to the children. Paediatric Department is paediatricians who work primarily in hospitals. They care for children in many hospital areas, including the paediatric ward, labour and delivery, the new-born nursery, the emergency department, the neonatal intensive care unit, and the paediatric intensive care unit. Paediatric Department work with your regular paediatrician and other physicians and providers involved in your child’s care. If there is a significant change in your child’s condition, a paediatric department will update your paediatrician. When your child leaves the hospital, a paediatric department will give your paediatrician an overview of your child’s hospital stay and detailed instructions for any necessary further care. Aims and Objectives
- To provide outdoor and indoor facilities for poor and needy patients to free of cost throughout year
- Enhance comprehensive neonatal care on 24-hour basis in the form new-born check-up, neonatal resuscitation, Neonatal admission and phototherapy for jaundiced babies.
- Provision 24hr emergency care to all paediatrics patient.
- To educate mothers about importance of breast feeding & cpeanlinen preparation of food, prevention of diarrhoea and communicable disease (like measly, chicken pox, T.B etc.)
- Educate the parents to prevent malnutrition by breast feeding & proper weaning.
- Treat the malnourished children in stabilization center.
- To provide facilities of vaccination in hospital, and motivate the health professionals, parents regarding importance of vaccination, because “Prevention is better than care”.
- To conduct neonatal resuscitation workshops for nurses, doctors of peads and gynae

- Establishment of paediatric emergency (Full resuscitation faculty equipped with tools).
